There’s even a saying the French coined when they were in this part of the world describing the differences between Laos and two of its neighbors: "The Vietnamese plant the rice, the Cambodians watch it grow, and the Laos listen to it."

Posted by Tim on Mar 23, 2006 During our six days in Siem Reap, we explored not just Angkor Wat, but many other temples as well. There are in fact somewhere around seventy temples and other ruins in the area, each one more beautiful than the last.
