Thankful in Turkey
When Tim and I started to plan our trip, we never had plans to visit Turkey. In all of our initial daydreams, Turkey never made the list. It wasn’t that we didn’t want to come here, it’s just the idea of visiting Turkey hadn’t even occurred to us.

Homeless in Istanbul
When we started out on our trip, we found a certain amount of humor in the fact that we were officially unemployed and homeless. As time went on, though, we came to realize we weren't acutally homeless at all. We find ourselves a new home in every city and town we visit.

From Buenos Aires to Leeds
We initially met Paul and Caroline on the second day of our trip, during our first visit to Buenos Aires. Immediately the four of us clicked and we spent several more nights exploring that beautiful city together before going our separate ways.

A Family Connection in London
My only prior visit to London was four years ago, an enjoyable eight days visiting my aunt and cousins (an embarrassing amount of it spent at Camden Market buying enormous boots and various articles of black clothing).
