In December 2008, we spent a few days shy of a week in Mexico City. Few cities have captured our hearts quicker than this bustling metropolis. Nearly every corner we turned led to tasty street food, colorful artwork, incredibly friendly people, and amazing architecture. As a city sometimes shunned for its turbulent past, we're hard pressed to name a more welcoming city anywhere in the world.
We'll be returning to Mexico City once again in just a few days (this time with my oldest sister and brother-in-law!). So in honor of our upcoming trip, we'd like to share with you a few of our favorite photos from our time in the Ciudad des los Palacios (City of Palaces).

FIRST POST!
Glad the site is back up. I plan on enjoying digging around and reading your new, and old entries
Been waiting a long time. How's Belly?
Belly is doing great! He loves where we live now: he plays by the ocean every day even when it's snowing. You'd never know he lived in the jungle before. Right now he's curled up in his doggy bed looking out of the sliding glass doors at the birdies. (China the cat has joined him too.)
In sum: You guys are so much cooler than I'll ever be.
I've spent the past couple of minutes just running my mouse up-and-down the sidebar menu.
Don't look now, my friend, but we've added a few more sidebar options (and so there's more hedgie art too)!
